Liberty International Joins the Janel Group Family

Liberty International, Inc. is proud to announce that it has joined Janel Group, a New York based global provider of integrated logistics solutions with offices throughout the U.S. (New York, Edison (NJ), Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta) and the Far East (Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Shenzhen). As an independently operating division of The Janel Group, Liberty will provide more value to our customers and position our team to more effectively compete and grow our company over the long term.

Liberty will continue to function as an independent business unit headquartered in Pawtucket, RI. Our organization will be led by Karen Kenney, a 30 year employee of Liberty, in her new role as President. Karen, Nick and Ken - who will continue to work at Liberty in their current sales & finance roles - and the entire team at Liberty are excited about the resources and innovation the Janel Group brings to our organization and we're proud of the tremendous job we've done to deliver outstanding service to our customers for the past 33 years.

Following the closing of the transaction, the Janel Group will employ approximately 108 employees, increase its footprint to 11 US and global locations and generate approximately $82MM per year in gross revenues.
