As Chief Executive Officer, Bill directs Janel Group’s strategic vision and leadership, guiding the organization toward sustained excellence and innovation. A dedicated lifelong member of the organization who developed his deep expertise in the operational and commercial facets of the business through progressive advancement, having held nearly every role within the company.

Today, Bill champions Janel Group’s core tenets: enhancing customer and employee experiences; leveraging technology as a foundational competency for end-to-end automation and visibility; ensuring execution through accountability and standardized processes; and broadening product offerings via strategic network expansion, commercial efforts, acquisitions, and growth—all to deliver superior value, seamless partnerships, and transformative solutions for our clients.

John brings a 30-year leadership background to his role as Janel Group’s Chief Operating Officer. He combines the rigorous thinking of his engineering background with the entrepreneurial spirit and passion for serving customers from his time as a business owner into a zeal for streamlining operations, developing talent, and growing the organization.

After earning a B.S.M.E. degree from Texas Tech, John began his career in the pipeline sector of the oil and gas industry before transitioning into freight forwarding. He founded and led his own logistics firm for seven years before it was acquired as Janel’s first investment in the Gulf
