Duty Postponement for Importers with Hardship
US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced a 90-day postponement of duties on some entries for importers who are experiencing a "significant financial hardship due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19)."
The announcement includes a list of exceptions, noting that certain entries will not qualify for the deferral. Among these are entries subject to AD/CVD, Section 232 and Section 301.
