Zanes adds two new locations to the Janel network at New Orleans, LA and Mobile, AL and strengthens Janel’s existing Houston, TX presence. Zanes brings new industry capabilities with inbond and vessel services, FTZ services, a strong FDA background, Hazmat and other international cargo services. Worth areas, including public warehouse, drayage and cartage companies, with Houston being the principal office for broker/forwarder activity. In 1943, Zanes incorporated in Louisiana. Steady growth and change commanded reorganization of human and physical resources, and the company’s operations ultimately merged into W.R. Zanes & Co. of La., Inc. in 1974. The basic goals and principles upon which Zanes was founded remain true today: human and physical resources will be guided into dynamic action with customer satisfaction as the goal.”
The Zanes team will continue to operate from its current locations in New Orleans, Houston and Mobile, sharing with the Janel network its deep industry expertise and close relationships with their customers and local market service providers. Diane Schexnayder will join Janel’s senior team as a VP, helping the company continue to build and deliver extraordinary services.
